For those not in the industry, “out of comp” refers to out of competition drug testing, which is where most top-level cyclists find themselves right now, with the Tour just less than two weeks off.
Growth hormone is all the rage in American sports right now, surely, but it’s not really something that’s made its way into the mainstream of constantly mentioned cycling-related drugs on the same level that EPO once occupied.
It will be interesting to see if that changes in the coming year/months/weeks.
