Oh yes, boys and girls, it’s that special time of year again — it’s time for the Tour.

News today that Astana has narrowed its TdF roster and Euskatel has named theirs only heightens the suspense. Or something.

One way or the other, we’re just about two weeks and change away from Bob Roll’s first “Tour DAY France” shout-out, and I say bring it on.

On a related note, can I just point out that in the six Astana riders named today, you’ll find names like Kloden, Popovich, Armstrong, Leipheimer and Contador. All kidding aside, if the boys in baby blue can work out a pecking order and truly ride as a team, does anyone else stand a friggin chance?
