It’s a rest day in Italy, so the journo-types have to work extra hard to bring you the news you crave about everyone’s favorite two-wheeled sport.

Or you could just use Twitter.

For those of you not among the cognoscenti, Lance Armstrong, Levi Leipheimer, Michael Rogers, Georgie Hincapie and Christian Vande Velde are just a few of the biggest names to get into the act, and they tweet at a rate paralelled by a select few.

What’s more, the boys of summer are big on the multimedia action too, posting photos, videos, etc.

My recommendation, however: Taylor Phinney. The phenom with cycling quite literally in his blood loves to Tweet about any thing and everything (case in point: “I want to go skydiving” via Twitter: taylorphinney). He pretty much leaves it all out there. It’s pretty funny.
