Take that, journos!

Lance Armstrong has struck a blow for tweeters everywhere, or maybe it’s the other way around, I really don’t know.

Basically, the Texan’s unwillingness to be as available as the media would like — he’s instead deferred many messages, thoughts, musings, etc. to his Twitter account — has sparked defiance within said media types, who have decided to boycott using his Twitter messages, which they at one time were referencing. Confused? Me too.

Here’s what the man, the myth, the legend himself had to say:

lancearmstrongBitter sports reporters are boycotting @lancearmstrong’s Tweets. Good luck with that, and welcome to 2009. http://bit.ly/ejrQ (via @sacca)

One won for the good guys! … I think?

In other news, racing your bicycle is hard. No seriously, it really is.
